We believe illustration designs can take an ad campaign to a whole new level. The in-house illustrators and design teams at Arketype develop pieces that are completely original. Working with illustration design, you have more control over creative execution. There are no compromises while looking for a stock photo. There's no need to edit or crop custom photos. Illustrations begin as a blank canvas and can be custom-developed to suit the creative concept or specific client request.

By providing sketched or "penciled" concepts before moving into the execution stage, we have the ability to show our clients what the finished product is going to look like without going too far into production. This allows us to show our clients multiple concept possibilities before shooting photography or completing the design on the computer.

Beginning a design project away from the computer is a philosophy that Arketype Executive Creative Director Jim Rivett has instilled into each designer. Instead of tinkering with Photoshop filters and searching for stock photos, our designers try to start each project by developing something original with their hands and minds.
