With the belief that creativity solves business problems, fulfills business potential and drives economic development, Arketype partnered with the Wisconsin Arts Board (WAB) to create "Art Works." The purpose of the piece was to frame creativity as the engine for community and economic vitality, and to broaden the sense that the creative class includes scientists, teachers, farmers, executives and others seeking innovative solutions to emerging problems.
The Art Works message was championed by former Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton, chair of the WAB; and Paul Meinke, Arketype Founder and WAB board member. The brochure was distributed in 2010 to economic development groups throughout Wisconsin as well as Wisconsin legislators, arts groups, school administrators, teachers, parents and the general public during a series of town-hall meetings across the state.
