Jim Rivett Named President of Arketype

GREEN BAY, WI, July 30, 2007 — Industry veteran, Jim Rivett has been named president of Arketype, Inc., Green Bay's award-winning advertising and design firm.

Rivett is a principal partner at Arketype and has been the firm's creative director since 1997.

According to Arketype founder, Paul Meinke, the move reflects the firm's growth as a multidisciplinary provider of brand and design solutions.

"We've experienced strategic growth into larger markets and continue to work with global clients," explained Meinke. "This announcement is a natural alignment of our ongoing business development."

Over the past decade, Arketype has expanded its capabilities beyond advertising to include a host of multimedia, digital video, film, branding, and marketing services.

Rivett will maintain his creative direction responsibilities in addition to his new role as president. Meinke will pursue special projects and new product development for the firm, as well as direct Arketype's community and philanthropic outreach.

A native of Green Bay, Rivett holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and pursued post-graduate study at the New York School of Visual Arts. In January 2005, he was selected by Graphic Design usa magazine as one of the country's 50 "People to Watch" in the entire design industry. His career in design and advertising spans 28 years.

Meinke currently holds a gubernatorial appointment on the Wisconsin Executive Arts Board. A graduate of the Art and Design School at Northern Michigan University, he has been recognized by the Wisconsin Small Business Administration as the state's Emerging Entrepreneur in 2001, and as the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Person of the Year in 2000.

Arketype, Inc., delivers strategic marketing advantages to leaders of consumer and business-to-business brands, creating impossible-to-ignore design and advertising solutions. The national award-winning firm, established in 1992 and based in Green Bay, provides clients with diverse, cross-platform capabilities, from annual report design and integrated ad campaigns, to website development, multimedia production, and original textile design.
