A First for Green Bay and the Fox Valley
GREEN BAY, WI, January 26, 2005 Each January, Graphic Design usa magazine publishes its ?People To Watch? issue which features 50 individuals from across the country who are shaping design, making news, influencing others, and leading their communities. The new January 2005 issue contains a profile of local designer, Jim Rivett, co-principal and creative director of Arketype, Inc., an award-winning advertising and design agency in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Rivett is the first individual from Green Bay and the Fox Valley to ever be featured.
The People To Watch edition dates back to 1980, and according to magazine editor, Gordon Kaye, it has included some of the biggest names in graphic design history.
We picked Jim for a simple reason
our staff and the judges of the 2004 Design Annual absolutely love his work, said Kaye. (Its) fresh, powerful communication over a broad range of clients.
Rivett has been active in the design field for over 20 years. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and pursued post-graduate study at the New York School of Visual Arts. He joined Arketype as its creative director in 1997 and became a principal partner in 2000.
