Meinke Recognized By US Small Business Administration

(Green Bay, WI) - Wisconsin's "2001 Emerging Small Business Person of the Year" is Paul Meinke, president of the marketing communications and design firm, Archetype Group, in Green Bay.
The award is presented annually by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and is part of the department's efforts to recognize and thank persons and organizations it views as critical to the success of the state's small business community. Meinke, the Green Bay Chamber of Commerce's "2000 Small Business Person of the Year" was nominated by the Green Bay Chamber. He will be formally presented with the award June 1 at the Sixteenth Annual Small Business Awards Breakfast at Milwaukee's Italian Community Center.
Meinke established Archetype in 1992. The firm works to solve the marketing challenges of consumer brand and business-to-business clients via creative communications strategy, brand development and design of print and digital communications. In that span, he has advanced the firm's philosophy of providing clients with creative product that is original and authentic, and service that leads to long-term client relationships.
Meinke's professional career as a designer spans 20 years, both on the client and agency sides of the business. A graduate of the Graphic Fine Arts program at Northern Michigan University, he is a native of the Detroit metropolitan area.
Meinke is known throughout Green Bay for his efforts to expand the cultural and creative perspectives of his staff, in addition to that of the community at large. Currently, he is Marketing Director of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, and a board member of Friends of Camp Batawagama, and of Green Bay's Urban Design Committee.
